Food from China
eat less, live longer?

Well basically, we're all going to die after our fourties. So why do we suffer from dieting, eating less, no fats, less sugar etc in the young age? Come on...

we LIVE to eat, not EAT to live
aint i right?

Ok this my first time posting about foods which indirectly making me hungry right now. Here are some food which provided during my trip...

Beijing Roasted Duck

Well you can basically see how they slice the duck meat for you and placed them into small plates. This is how we eat...

Take a piece of wantan skin, add some black soya sos into it and place some sliced ginger and vege onto it.

When the duck is ready place it with them and you start rolling it. Then you EAT =P

Mongolian Buffet

I duno how to name it. It's basically everything in my plate.

We have prawn, sushi, meat roll and tuna...

and this is real SEAFOOD...

In malaysia we called this as KEBAB meat, but this taste a lot nicer here. I had to wait 5minutes for 2sticks.

Apple Vinegar. My favourite of all....

Japanese Steamboat

this is how the light up the fire...

and my soup for the day. Erm what about the dishes? I basically forgotten about it. Was too engrossed eating....

Deep Fry Piglet

My parents said it was nice but i didn touch a single piece. Its a piglet, how could people do such a thing to the animals?

I duno what do we called it in english but in chinese, we called this as "mi zhou". The smell was strong but it wasn that nice to taste....

Brazilian Barbeque

Its a buffet. As usual i eat everything which are nice =)

Fry sweet potatoes. Looks like french fries but it taste better with the ketchup.

Well i still don get this..... What would brazilian got to do with sushi?

Grilled sausages, meat balls, lamb, chicken breast and COW TONGUE.

Mongolian Dish

this is chili tambah chili, not even qualified to be called as a dish.
Erm the other dishes are those normal ones, nothing interesting.....

Spicy Grilled Fish

You cant see anything for nuts caused it was covered by blended dried chili and whatever to do with spicy. This dish was out from the itinerary caused i ate this for supper during one of the night. I followed the older married couple along to taste the local food and my parents didn follow. We had to take taxi to the street caled "gui jie". There got plently nice food for the locals.. I was the youngest of all =) only 18 and they indirectly invited me to drink =P

this is just half of it... another half the waiter took away =P China beers are really cheap. RMB 6 which also our RM3 for a regular beer =) the bill for the night was 4hundred plus shared among the couples. The tour guide belanja me...

and till now my tummy still giving me problem. Thanks to it, i will vomit whenever i eat anything spicy. Suck =(

Great Wall of China
1 of the 7Wonder of the World

and 6more to go....

Well picture this?
There's none machine ever invented for transportation the rocks and bricks. Only with our bare hands and feet, just imagine how did the people in the Ching's Dynasty builded this great wall as a protection against their enemies? Even for a 18 year old guy find it challenging to climb up, how in the world did those people carried those huge rocks up the hill? and this took billions of lifes to build and rebuild it back the the old days and for the material for the inner walls, they used the dead bodies....

which i personally thinks its scary enough to believe it.

Certificate for the pussies, it was located at the lowest(first) watch tower when i passed by. And i couldn count how much towers are there caused it never ends...

and i managed to climbed the 7th only which also the highest tower from where my bus stopped.

Well the view on the top was superb. Using my kit lens was the only option I have for the day. I'm not as rich as people out there who's able to buy those fancy lenses...

but seriously i should have used a wide angle(if i have la...)

the final stairs to reach to the top....
and it took us quite some time to reach there!

Well climbling up was not a problem at all, take this advice from me.

"GOING down was harder compared to the climbing..."
You can all experience it to believe it =)

It worth every single cents you paid when you're in the Great Wall. I was there and I didn managed to conquer it all. I shall leave it for those who's planning to go there in the next holiday =)

and one thing I really hate about following a TOUR...

they GAVE me too little time to take pictures. SCREW it!

(up next the forbidden city and the summer palace)

Evening flight

I just love the sunset while we're boarding home.

Well technically I'm back, but my body still haven really fully recover from it. I just vomited(2nd time) and i guess my stomach still not feeling very well after the trip.

I think I'll get some rest.. will UPPDATE =)

Chapter of HIS life
Sjk (c) Lick Hung...

Well for most of the people living in Subang, this school here is no longer a stranger to them. It was the place that brought up me and my siblings once at a very young age ago. We started of going into the primary year after our pre-school and there begins the journey of a child in regaining his education in a basic level. Like most of the child, that was the place where I cried on the first week of school and it was horrible according to my dad. Haha! We cried caused we're terrified of the new environment, the teachers and the students...

i think i still have those primary school pictures but i have to search for it....

Six years of chinese education made me like one of the "typical chinese people" which we're supposed to be like them when we grow up yet many are not fortunate enough to experience them and I'm glad I'm in a chinese school once...

least it make me a real chinese boy!

I remembered there was the time after the tuition classes, we would run around the school playing kids games...

which was "ICE & WATER"

Those were the days when we're like kids and there's nothing to worry about. Our body were filled with energy and pure heart. We would play with everyone around no matter what...

6A (2002) was still the same old class after so many years. Teachers and the building are getting older by days as we grew up from our childhood...

and the blackboard never changed even after so many years...

Well at least there's still a small part that uses chalk to write on it? Childhood memories have always the best among all. When we were a child, we need not to worry nor care for so many problems and heartaches will also be none as we're still young and innocence.

Life is just like a moving water, once it passed the river it can never return as it constantly moving towards the....... SEA!

Shopping Spree
with family...

My parents practically went to 3 shopping malls on Sunday. Our first stop was OneUtama. Konon "Pj people punya tempat..." Haha! =P Well at least the mall was big enough to make my leg miserable to walk.

But the rainforest is longer that beautiful during my first visit..

Our next stop was Parade. I personally dropped by Big Apple caused Liz was working there but i didn have any pictures though caused I left it in the car..

She seems happy what she's doing there..

and for the final station, its the plain old and boring pyramid. Hmm they have the chocolate fair in the mall.

"Malaysian BEST-LOVED chocolate..."

Well the crowd was huge though and I have to squeeze my butt between people to take pictures

and i found out something interesting...

Chocolates wont BITE! Haha!
~happy holidays peeps

Birthday Celebration(late)
Chinese traditional style...

It was lunch as in the not so modern way in chinese where relatives and friends are invited for a birthday lunch or a wedding dinner. But this was lunch feast.

And the menu for the day...

hope you know how to read it =)

As i was talking, the uncle of mine is celebrating his 60th birthday. His still young and this is my first time meeting him. I guess i wasn that close to my relatives on the other side and this was part of the reason for not knowing him.

I shot with En Lin's 55-250 IS. Sniped from quite a distance...

and i was early there, so not much people around and i was the only one who's with the BIG camera. Paiseh!

My family and I. My bro took this. And his only 12, guess what? a DSLR is not that hard to use after all...

the atmosphere was great!

for the final piece, pictures of people =)

and that explain why i was so eager to have a telephone telephoto lens these days...

Will update soon!

Hokian People
kah cheng ang ang =P

Just wanna share something Melissa sent to me...

The origin of Allsalmualaikum and Mualaikumsalam is not from Middle Eastern

............................it's Hokkien!!

Well here's an example...
Why corruption in Malaysia will never be eradicated!

This is because when officials meet, they remind one another...

Official A says:"'Wa salah Lu Mai Kong" (Allsalamualaikum)

Official B replies:"Wa Mai Kong Lu Salah" (Mualaikumsalam)

So now we know the origin of Allsalamulaikum and Mualikumsalam is not Middle Eastern

and it's Hokkien !! =.=!!
